• Educational content and strategic guidance

Eligibility and Account Registration

Age Requirements

• Users must be at least 13 years old
• Users under 18 require parental/guardian consent
• Parents/guardians may create family accounts for their children

Account Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
• Take responsibility for all activities under your account

Subscription Plans and Payment

Available Plans

• Explorer (Free): Basic profile building and limited scholarship matches
• Strategist ($29/month): Unlimited matches, AI essay help, advanced strategy
• Navigator ($59/month): Family dashboard, 1-on-1 consultation, success guarantee

Payment Terms

• Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance
• All payments processed securely through Stripe
• 14-day free trial included with paid plans
• Refunds subject to our refund policy (see below)

User Conduct and Responsibilities

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in your profile
• Share account credentials or transfer accounts to others
• Use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
• Upload harmful content, including viruses or malicious code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or platform staff
• Violate intellectual property rights

Academic Integrity

While Seshor provides writing assistance and strategic guidance, you must ensure all submitted application materials represent your authentic voice and experiences. Our tools are designed to help you present your best self, not to create false information.

Intellectual Property

Seshor's Rights

Seshor and its content, including software, AI algorithms, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you create and upload
• You grant us license to use your content to provide our services
• We may use anonymized data to improve our AI algorithms
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to uploaded content

Platform Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

• Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Update these Terms with notice to users
• Suspend accounts that violate these Terms

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• You retain access to paid features until cancellation becomes effective
• Free Explorer accounts can be deleted immediately

Refund Policy

• 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers
• Navigator plan includes our success guarantee (terms apply)
• Refunds processed to original payment method within 5-10 business days
• No refunds for partial months after the guarantee period

Success Guarantee (Navigator Plan)

For Navigator subscribers who follow our recommended strategy:

• Complete profile with all required information
• Submit applications to at least 10 recommended scholarships
• Follow our AI-generated strategy recommendations
• Use our writing tools for essay submissions

If you do not receive at least one scholarship offer within 12 months, we will provide a full refund of Navigator subscription fees paid during the guarantee period.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Disclaimers

• Seshor provides tools and guidance but cannot guarantee scholarship awards
• Scholarship decisions are made by independent organizations
• Our AI recommendations are based on available data and algorithms
• Platform content is for informational purposes only

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seshor's liability is limited to the amount paid for our services in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.
